Team Leader/Project Leader

This is a project assignment with supervisory responsibilities through the life of an IT project. Programmer/Analyst, Senior Programmer/Analyst and Lead Programmer/Analysts are the likely candidates for this position. Employees from other Sherwin-Williams business segments with the appropriate computer experience may also qualify.

Typically Reports to: Manager Programmer/Analyst

Essential Duties and Requirements

• Duties
  • Simple programming and analysis
  • Conventional technology skills
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills. Team Leaders are charged with keeping the team on task and reporting the team’s progress. May also have contacts with some customers and vendors.
  • Strong business orientation with basic knowledge of Sherwin-Williams operations. Knowledge expands with each Team project assignment.
• Education & Experience
  • BS Computer Science with at least 3 years’ experience,
  • High School diploma with at least 7 years’ equivalent experience
• Physical requirements
  • Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
  • Spend 70% of the day sitting, 15% standing, 15% walking.
  • Able to work all scheduled hours as needed.
